Prof. Dr. William Crawley-Boevey is a faculty member at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Bielefeld , holding the Alexander von Humboldt Professor chair. His research spans representation theory of quivers and finite-dimensional algebras, algebraic geometry, noncommutative algebra, and integral structures in mathematics. Key Projects: Subproject manager for SFB/TRR 358 (Integral Structures in Geometry and Representation Theory) in modules A6, C2, and C3. Teaching: Module responsibilities include Homological Algebra and Representation Theory at the Bielefeld Graduate School in Theoretical Sciences. Research Trends: His recent work focuses on quiver representations, persistence modules, preprojective algebras, and interactions between tame/wild classification problems in algebraic structures. He explores geometric and categorical frameworks for module decompositions and stability conditions. Scientific Awards: Alexander von Humboldt Professor (2025) DFG Collaborative Research Centre participation Contact: wcrawley@math.uni-bielefeld.de
