Muhsin Caner Gökçe is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, TED University, Faculty of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Çankaya University and an MS from Ankara University. His research focuses on optical wireless communication systems, particularly in turbulent atmospheric, biological tissue, and underwater environments. Dr. Gökçe has taught courses such as Digital Logic Design, Optical Communications, and Senior Projects since 2009, with extensive contributions to free-space optics and turbulence mitigation techniques. He explores signal-to-noise ratio improvements and error rate reduction in turbulent conditions. He frequently addresses adaptive optics solutions for enhancing beam coupling efficiency and reducing scintillation effects.
