Associate Professor Katina Zammit is a leading literacy education specialist currently serving as President of the Australian Literacy Educators Association (ALEA) and on the ALEA Sydney West Local Council. She holds a leadership position with the International Literacy Association (ILA) for the 2024-2027 term and serves on the International Development of Oceania Committee, supporting literacy initiatives in Papua New Guinea, Fiji, and the Cook Islands.
