Dr. Mohamed Aturban is an Assistant Professor at the Robert W. Plaster School of Business at Columbia College. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Tripoli (Libya), an M.S. from New Mexico State University (2011), and a Ph.D. from Old Dominion University (2020). His research focuses on web archiving, cybersecurity, and digital preservation, with notable contributions to frameworks for verifying fixity of archived web resources and the development of ArchiveNow, which earned a Best Poster Award at JCDL 2018. He collaborates with institutions like Los Alamos National Lab and has expertise in web preservation and data integrity.
