Steve Zdancewic is the Schlein Family President's Distinguished Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Engineering and Applied Science. He is a leading researcher in programming languages, type theory, logic, and computer security, with extensive contributions to formal verification, program synthesis, and language-based security.
