Yasaman Amannejad is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computing at Mount Royal University (MRU), Faculty of Science. She holds a PhD in Software Engineering from the University of Calgary (2017) and an MSc/BSc in Computer Information Technology from Amirkabir University of Technology (2011/2008). Her research focuses on applying machine learning to healthcare diagnostics, performance analysis of cloud and edge computing systems, and addressing social challenges like domestic violence and homelessness. Her work has been funded by NSERC, Petro-Canada, and the New Frontiers in Research Fund.
