Dr. Heysem Kaya is an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University's Faculty of Science , affiliated with the Social and Affective Computing research group in the Department of Information and Computing Sciences. With over 90 publications and 2600+ citations, his work bridges machine learning, speech processing, and affective computing to advance applications in mental health, child behavior analysis, and explainable AI.
