Philippe Lambin is a Full Professor in the Physics Department at the University of Namur (Belgium), affiliated with the Research Center PMR (Physics of Matter and Radiation). He has held roles including Dean of the Faculty of Sciences (2005–2008) and Vice Rector. His research focuses on carbon nanostructures, graphene, and nanomaterials, coordinating European projects like FAEMCAR and contributing to the Graphene Flagship consortium. Education: Doctor of Science in Physics (Université de Liège, 1981). Research Interests: Electronic properties of carbon nanotubes, electrodynamics of graphene, surface dynamics, and dielectric materials. His work bridges theory and applications in nanotechnology. Recent Projects: INFUSION (2017–2020): Optoelectronic interfaces and organic materials. Graphene 3D (2017–2020): Graphene-based nanocomposites for 3D printing. Awards: Adolphe Wetrems Prize (1991). Belgian Francqui Chair (2002–2003). Member of the Royal Academy of Belgium (2013). Affiliations & Leadership: Co-editor of European Physics Letters , member of the Belgian Physical Society, and Solvay Local Scientific Committee. Supervised 57 research works and coordinated 34 projects.
