Hakan Aydin is a Professor and Director of the PhD Program in the Department of Computer Science at George Mason University's Volgenau School of Engineering. He has been teaching at George Mason University since 2001 and has established himself as a leading researcher in real-time embedded systems and energy-aware computing. He has developed innovative techniques for reliability-aware power management, dynamic voltage scaling, and energy harvesting in wireless sensor networks. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Real-Time Systems (Springer).
