Oya Bayiltmış Öğütçü is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of English Language and Literature, Adiyaman University. She holds a Licence (2003-2008) and Integrated Doctorate (2008-2016) from Hacettepe University, with expertise in medieval literature, Chaucer studies, and gender theory. Education: Licence and Integrated Doctorate from Hacettepe University Academic Roles: Associate Professor (2024-present), Doctor Lecturer (2019-2024), Research Assistant (2016-2019) at Adiyaman University Research Focus: Medieval literature, Chaucerian narratives, gender/sexuality studies, posthumanism, and animal studies Her recent publications explore themes like Chaucerian aesthetics , medieval gender politics , and animal symbolism in medieval texts. She has presented at international conferences including the International IDEA Conference and New Chaucer Society Congress.
