Henrikki Tikkanen is a Full Professor of Business Administration (Marketing) at Aalto University School of Business since 2004, holding the A. I. Virtanen Professorship in Consumer Research since 2017. Previously, he served as a tenured Full Professor at Stockholm University (2013–2016) and held roles at multiple Finnish universities. His research focuses on strategy, leadership, strategic marketing, and business history, with notable work on Nokia, Valmet, and Stora Enso. He has supervised over 20 doctoral students and led large-scale research projects totaling over €6 million in funding. Tikkanen also serves as Director of the DBA Program at Aalto University Executive Education and has extensive executive education and consulting experience.
