Brendan McCarthy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting & Finance at the University of Limerick's Kemmy Business School. Education: Ph.D. in Taxation (University of Limerick), MSc in Taxation (University of Limerick), BA in Law and Accounting (University of Limerick) McCarthy's research explores employee voice mechanisms in Big 4 accounting firms, the rhetoric versus reality of professional practice, and AI's transformative potential in tax careers.
