Remco Veltkamp Professor of Game and Media Technology at the Faculty of Science, Utrecht University. His research focuses on game technology, 3D analysis, video/image recognition, AR/VR interaction, and applications of serious games in health and education. He coordinates the Utrecht Center for Game Research and leads the Dynamics of Youth Hub's 'Play = Healthy Growing Up' initiative, exploring gaming's role in supporting chronically ill children. Additionally, he teaches Game Programming and co-founded the Serious Game Society. He serves as editor for International Journal of Serious Games and Graphical Models .
