Prof. Carlo Menon is a Full Professor and Head of the Biomedical and Mobile Health Technology Lab at ETH Zürich. His expertise spans wearable technology, e-textiles, and bio-signal processing for healthcare and sports applications. He holds a Laurea in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Space Sciences from the University of Padua, with prior roles at Carnegie Mellon University and Simon Fraser University. His lab focuses on next-generation wearables for personalized medicine and neuromuscular rehabilitation. Prof. Menon has secured over 80 grants and published 400+ works, co-founding two startups to commercialize his research.
