Dr. Yan Yan serves as Assistant Professor of Literacy and Language Education in the Department of Teacher Education at Lamar University's College of Education and Human Development. With a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston, she brings K-12 ESL teaching and debate coaching experience to her academic role while advising Kappa Delta Epsilon and Kappa Delta Pi education honor societies. Research Focus: Her work centers on second language literacy development, Science of Teaching Reading implementation, and technology integration for English learners.
