Paul Tupper is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Simon Fraser University (SFU), part of the Faculty of Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Scientific Computing from Stanford University (2002). His research focuses on applied mathematics with emphasis on mathematical modeling in epidemiology, speech perception, neural networks, and computational linguistics.
