Christoph Schäfer is a German astrophysicist at the University of Tübingen, affiliated with the Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics and its Computational Physics department. His work focuses on numerical particle methods, particularly Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH), to model planetary formation, collisions, and protoplanetary disc dynamics.
