David Mount is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland, with an additional appointment at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS). His primary research focus is Computational Geometry, particularly in designing, analyzing, and implementing data structures and algorithms for geometric problems.
