Costas Meghir is the Douglas A. Warner III Professor of Economics at Yale University and a Research Associate at the IZA Programs (Labor Studies, Children and Families, Public Economics, Development Economics). He holds a PhD from Manchester University and is a Fellow of multiple prestigious institutions, including the Econometric Society and the British Academy. His work spans labor economics, human capital, and early childhood development, with a focus on policy evaluation via randomized control trials (RCTs) in developing countries and the US.
