Joshua Lequieu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Drexel University. His research focuses on developing predictive multi-scale models of nano-structured soft matter, bridging atomistic, coarse-grained, and field-theoretic simulations to address challenges in materials science and biological systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Engineering from the University of Chicago (2017), an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2013), and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University (2010). His lab develops novel simulation techniques combining field-theoretic and molecular dynamics methods to model polymer systems across length scales, with applications in energy, human health, and advanced materials. Recent work explores molecular chirality and non-equilibrium processing for expanding block copolymer phase diversity. Scientific trends in his publications include multi-scale modeling of soft materials, computational approaches for chromatin organization, and simulation algorithm development.
