Vincenzo Maria Sglavo is a Full Professor of Materials Science and Technology at the Department of Industrial Engineering , University of Trento , Italy. He coordinates the Doctoral Program in Industrial Innovation (M.D. 45/2013) and has held academic appointments at The Pennsylvania State University (Postdoctoral Fellow, 1993-1994) and as Adjunct Professor there (2001). He explores entropy-stabilized composites, glass joining techniques, and iron speciation effects in aluminosilicates.
