J. Stuart Ablon is a renowned clinical psychologist and researcher affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School . He serves as the Founder and Director of Think:Kids , a program dedicated to addressing challenging behaviors in youth through the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach. Dr. Ablon holds the Thomas G. Stemberg Endowed Chair in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, where he works part-time as an Associate Professor of Psychology. Education: Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley (2006) Dr. Ablon’s research focuses on disruptive behavior disorders in children and adolescents, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) , oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) , and intermittent explosive disorder (IED) . His work emphasizes collaborative problem solving as a non-punitive, non-adversarial strategy for managing challenging behaviors.
