Professor Khimji Vaghjiani is a technology commercialization expert at Torrens University Australia's Centre for AI Research and Optimisation (AIRO). With 30+ years in ICT/R&D innovation, he has led corporate venture capital units (Westpac), managed NSW Data Analytics Centre projects, and designed solar products deployed in 18 countries. As former Head of Harbour City Labs, he mentored deep-tech startups through lean canvas development and MVP creation. His research examines innovation adoption patterns across banking, renewable energy, and manufacturing sectors, with specific focus on institutional drivers in developing economies. Publications apply institutional theory to technology transfer mechanisms.
