Christopher L. Barrett is the Executive Director of the Biocomplexity Institute and Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at the University of Virginia. He holds a joint appointment in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. His interdisciplinary work spans computational science, dynamical networks, and AI-driven modeling. He leads large-scale research initiatives for federal agencies and has advised organizations like the Department of Defense and the European Commission.
