Joel Hasbrouck is the Kenneth G. Langone Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Finance at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University, where he has been a faculty member since 1983. His research focuses on market microstructure, financial econometrics, and the design and regulation of securities markets. He is the author of the influential book Empirical Market Microstructure and has published extensively in top finance journals.
