Wenxu Li is a Research Fellow at the School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic and Biomedical Engineering, University of Wollongong. His work focuses on vibration modeling, railway systems analysis, and reliability engineering. He has collaborated on projects involving operational excellence in manufacturing, noise separation techniques, and rail dynamics analysis. His research combines finite element methods with experimental validation to address challenges in mechanical and railway engineering. Research interests include railway infrastructure reliability, vibration-based diagnostics, and material characterization for superconductivity applications. He has contributed to developing measurement models for equipment efficiency and failure data analysis using Weibull distribution models. Published work spans journal articles and conference papers since 2011, covering topics from rail vibration modeling to nanomaterial synthesis. Notable contributions include RAM database development for the railway industry and studies on track decay rate measurement techniques.
