Dr. Chinedu Ivonye serves as Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education and Designated Institutional Official (DIO) for ACGME at Morehouse School of Medicine. With dual appointments in Internal Medicine and Graduate Medical Education, he oversees all residency and fellowship programs while leading initiatives to enhance medical training quality and diversity. Dr. Ivonye's research focuses on clinical education innovation and health disparities reduction , particularly through improving palliative care training at HBCUs and developing resident-driven research opportunities.
