Johnny Guzmán is a Professor of Applied Mathematics at Brown University, specializing in numerical analysis of partial differential equations and scientific computing. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University (2005) and a B.S. in Mathematics from California State University, Long Beach (1999). His research focuses on numerical methods for PDEs, including discontinuous Galerkin methods, mixed finite element methods, and fluid-structure interaction problems.
