Leman Figen Gül is a Professor at the Department of Architecture , Istanbul Technical University 's Faculty of Architecture. She also serves as Head of the Game and Interaction Technologies Program and Coordinator of the Graduate Informatics in Architectural Design Program. Her academic career spans institutions like Newcastle University, University of Sydney, International University of Sarajevo, TOBB University of Economics and Technology, and MacQuarie University. Current projects investigate AI-driven co-design interfaces, gamification of cultural heritage, and material innovation in design pedagogy. Recent publications highlight trends in design technology and empathy in architecture . Her work combines theoretical inquiry with practical implementations in digital fabrication and immersive environments.
