Linda Argote is the Thomas Lord Professor of Organizational Behavior and Theory at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University. She serves as Director of the Center for Organizational Learning, Innovation, and Knowledge. Her academic journey includes prior roles such as David M. Kirr Professor and Carnegie Bosch Professor. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Psychology from Tulane University. Her research focuses on organizational learning, innovation, knowledge transfer, and group processes, with notable contributions to transactive memory systems and team performance. Argote has received prestigious awards like the Joseph E. McGrath Award and an Honorary Doctorate. She actively contributes to academic leadership through roles in editorial boards, grant reviews, and university committees.
