Christian Neureiter is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Technologies and Digitalization at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. He serves as Head of the Centre for Dependable Systems Engineering Research Group and leads multiple funded projects in systems engineering and energy informatics. Senior Lecturer, Salzburg University of Applied Sciences Head, Centre for Dependable Systems Engineering Research Group His research focuses on model-based systems engineering, smart grids, co-simulation, and renewable energy integration. He has contributed to cross-domain interoperability frameworks, particularly in automotive-grid integration and sector coupling dynamics. Recent publications highlight his work on SGAM-based models for electric vehicle integration, domain-specific languages for RAMI 4.0, and co-simulation techniques for low-temperature anergy systems. Key areas include energy distribution, renewable energy sources, and critical infrastructure security. Scientific Awards: Best Paper Award (2016, 2024) Best Paper Candidate (2024) Best Presentation Award (2019) Neureiter leads projects like the Josef Ressel Centre for Dependable Systems (JRZ DeSoS) and collaborates on initiatives related to secure energy informatics (ZSE WISS2025). His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in energy and infrastructure domains.
