Wei Pang is a Professor of Computer Science and Bicentennial Research Leader at the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. He leads the BCML Lab and is affiliated with the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics and National Robotarium. His expertise spans bio-inspired computing, machine learning, and AI applications in healthcare, robotics, and sustainability. Pang holds a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Aberdeen, with prior roles including Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen and research fellowships in systems biology.
