Prof. Roman Jašek is a Professor and Director of the Institute of Informatics and Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Applied Informatics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín. He holds dual professorial titles - Professor in Systems Engineering and Informatics (Czech Republic) and Professor of Technical Sciences (Polish Republic). He leads four specialized laboratories: Penetration Testing and Applied Cryptography Laboratory (PTLAB) Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (AILAB) Advanced Embedded Systems Laboratory (EMLAB) Brain-Machine Interface Laboratory (BMLAB) His research has resulted in international patent applications including 'System for Verification of Identity and Licenses for Working with Highly Sensitive Data' and 'System for Control of Industrial Processes.' His work bridges theoretical research with practical applications in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, with particular emphasis on industrial blockchain implementation and brain-computer interface applications in medicine.
