Hyunseok Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He leads the Hyunseok Kim Research Group, focusing on heterogeneous integration technologies for future electronics. Prior to this role, he served as a Postdoctoral Associate and Research Scientist at MIT (2019-2023). His research emphasizes low-dimensional materials, 3D integration, and semiconductor devices for microelectronics and photonics.
