Angela Booker is a faculty member in the Department of Communication at the University of California San Diego , focusing on youth and family engagement with media, technology, and civic participation. Ph.D. in Education, Stanford University, 2007 Her research explores how underrepresented communities leverage media and technology for learning, community development, and systemic repair. She employs ethnographic, qualitative, and design-based methods to investigate collaborations between youth, educators, and community partners.
