Susanne Beck is an Academic Councillor at the Institute for the Cultures of the Ancient Near East (IANES) within the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Tübingen . She holds a habilitation on Papyrus AMS 23b and directs the Saqqara Saite-Persian Tombs Project. Her academic journey includes a Master of Arts in Egyptology (Leipzig, 2011) and a PhD at LMU Munich (2015) under the Graduate School 'Forms of Prestige in Ancient Cultures'.
