Andy D. Pimentel is a Full Professor at the University of Amsterdam, where he chairs the Parallel Computing Systems (PCS) group within the Systems and Networking Lab at the Informatics Institute. His work focuses on the design, programming, and run-time management of multi-core and multi-processor computer systems, with particular attention to performance, power/energy consumption, system dependability, and design productivity.
