Christoph H. Lampert is a Professor at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA), leading the Machine Learning and Computer Vision (MLCV) Group. His research spans machine learning, computer vision, and trustworthy AI with emphasis on robustness and fairness. He serves as ELLIS Fellow and Unit Director for ISTA's ELLIS unit. His research program focuses on foundational challenges in machine learning including robustness against distribution shifts, fairness in algorithmic decision-making, and verification of neural networks.
