Livieris Ioannis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Insurance Science at the University of Piraeus. He holds academic positions including Adjunct Professorships at the University of the Peloponnese and Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece. His research focuses on optimization methods for neural networks, machine learning, ensemble techniques, and their applications in healthcare, finance, education, and environmental science. He also explores explainable AI frameworks to enhance transparency in deep learning models.
