Vera Fischer is an Associate Professor and Privatdozent in the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Vienna. She has been an active researcher since 2008, with a strong publication record in mathematical logic and set theory. Her research centers on set-theoretic combinatorics , focusing on cardinal characteristics of the continuum, forcing, definability, and structures such as maximal almost disjoint families, cofinitary groups, and independent families.
