Prof. Dr. Rahel Jaeggi is a Professor of Practical Philosophy, Legal Philosophy, and Social Philosophy at Humboldt University of Berlin and director of the Center for Social Critique since 2018. She has held visiting professorships at Yale University, Fudan University (Shanghai), and the New School for Social Research (New York), and was a fellow at Princeton University's Institute for Advanced Study. Her research centers on critical theory and includes concepts such as Alienation , Commodification/Reification , Life Forms , and Solidarity . Her publications, including collaborations with Nancy Fraser and R. Celikates, critically examine capitalism, social institutions, and modern political-philosophical debates.
