Siqi Wei, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Finance in the Department of Finance, Financial Planning, and Insurance at the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics, California State University, Northridge, where he holds the Stelmar Family Faculty Fellowship. His research examines institutional investors, market efficiency, corporate finance, and emerging financial technologies, with recent emphasis on skill-biased technological change and its labor finance implications. Dr. Wei's scholarly contributions appear in leading journals including the Journal of Corporate Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, and Emerging Market Review, with findings highlighted by Bloomberg and Columbia Law School's Blue Sky blog. His work bridges theoretical finance with real-world market dynamics and technological disruption. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses such as Corporate Finance, Investments, Quantitative Finance I & II, Financial Modeling with Python, and Personal Finance, integrating practical coding skills with core financial theory. As Faculty Advisor for the FMA-CSUN chapter, he actively mentors student researchers in finance.
