Joseph G. Ouslander, M.D., is a Professor of Geriatric Medicine at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University (FAU), with additional appointments as a Courtesy Professor at the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, FAU, and a Voluntary Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He has held leadership roles including Chair of FAU's Department of Integrated Medicine and Senior Associate Dean for Geriatric Programs at FAU. He is a Past-President of the American Geriatrics Society and Executive Editor of its journal.
