Barbara J. Evans is a Stephen C. O’Connell Chair Professor of Law and Professor of Engineering at the University of Florida, with joint appointments in the Levin College of Law and Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering. She focuses on data privacy, AI/ML medical software regulation, genomic technologies, and diagnostic testing, and is a key member of the NIH Bridge2AI project. Education : J.D. from Yale Law School, LL.M. in Health Law from the University of Houston, postdoctoral training in clinical ethics at MD Anderson, and a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences from Stanford.
