Himan Hojat Jalali is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), specializing in lifeline earthquake engineering and infrastructure resilience. He leads the Structures and Applied Mechanics group and focuses on seismic performance of buried pipelines, metamaterials for vibration control, sustainable materials, and structural reliability.
