Sadie Bennett is a Clinical Scientist and Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Leeson Group: Preventive Cardiology Research Group and the Cardiovascular Clinical Research Facility. She has over 10 years of experience in the NHS, specializing in echocardiography and stress echocardiography for managing heart valve conditions under a Scientist-led care model. Her research focuses on cardiovascular imaging, sex differences in cardiac diagnostics, and novel biomarker development. She contributes to national initiatives, including the National Echocardiographic Database of the UK (NED-UK) and a national clinical research course.
