Prof. Xiong Zehui is a Full Professor at the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Queen's University Belfast. He leads the iConnect Lab, focusing on intelligent computing and networking innovations. His research spans wireless networks, IoT, edge intelligence, semantic communications, generative AI, and the Metaverse. Education includes a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). He has held visiting roles at Princeton University and the University of Waterloo. Recognized in Forbes Asia 30U30, he serves as editor for flagship journals like IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications and chairs international conferences.
