Yiğit Dağhan Gökdel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. He serves as the Chair of the department and advisor to the Rector. His work bridges engineering, biomedical instrumentation, and microsystems, with a strong focus on MEMS, biosensors, and optical devices. He leads the Microsystems Research Group and the Biosensors Research Group, and has coordinated numerous funded research projects from TÜBİTAK and institutional grants.
