Dr. Jie Fu is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering , University of Florida , within the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering. She holds the Nelms Rising Star Endowed Professorship . Her research focuses on synthesizing correct-by-construction autonomous systems through formal methods, machine learning, control theory, and game theory. Education: M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering & Automation, Beijing Institute of Technology (2009) Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, University of Delaware (2013) Research Interests: Dr. Fu’s work spans preference-aware decision-making with human-in-the-loop systems, adaptive control under temporal logic constraints, and game-theoretic design of secure autonomous systems. Key applications include cyber-physical system security, human-autonomy collaboration, and deception-resistant cyber defense.
