Anoshay Fazal is a Graduate Teaching Fellow and PhD researcher at Liverpool Law School, University of Liverpool. She teaches on the Equity and Trusts module and serves as the PGR Representative (Law). Holding an LLB (Hons) and LLM (with Merit) from the University of London, her expertise spans constitutionalism, legal history, and international human rights law with a focus on the Global South. Education: LLM (with Merit) in Law and Development, University of London LLB (Hons), University of London Her research critically examines citizenship laws, statelessness, and the rights of Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Recent publications include a chapter in Statelessness, governance, and the problem of citizenship (2021). She has contributed to projects on refugee rights, business and human rights, and child rights with organizations like UNHCR Pakistan and the American Bar Association. Key Projects: Co-authored studies on 'Fair Representation in Justice Sector' with Women in Law Initiative Pakistan Assisted in training 100+ female law students/lawyers (2024) Contributed to the Impact of COVID-19 on Stateless Communities in Pakistan report (2021) Anoshay's work bridges legal scholarship and policy, addressing systemic inequities faced by marginalized populations. She currently advises the Lahore Education and Research Network (LEARN).
